I’ve been doing rather well at keeping myself on track. While I haven’t quit smoking, I’ve been cutting down quite a bit, I no longer go through my pack-a-day, I’m down about half which is a huge accomplishment for me. Baby and I have been walking a little more so I’m getting back into the swing of things there and I’ve been watching both my calorie and carbohydrate intake rather closely. Tonight I broke it a little bit but it was also in moderation. We ordered dinner from a deli in the area and I got myself honey maple turkey on rye with a little bit of mayo just to keep it from being so dry. I’ve been snacking on my 100 calorie packs (strongly recommended) and while I adore Crystal Light, I’m only drinking that in moderation as well.
I’ve been drinking a lot of water lately, it has me running back and forth to the bathroom all day but I also know it’s cleaning out my system in the process. I’m working on flushing myself out because I hear that helps weight loss, clearing your body of toxins and then refilling yourself with healthy food in it’s place. I go through so many articles online that naturally simple things are were I tend to look.
I’m not on any set diet, I’m just eating better and exercising more, nothing wrong with that, many people are also doing the same thing. A recent weigh in has me about 5 more pounds down, I need to get my sidebar updated about that. It’s safe to say I’m doing fairly well and that’s all that matters to me. I’m close to getting to my first 15 pound goal and working from there. I’m working in a series of 15’s to keep myself from stressing out. Losing about 15 pounds a month should be fairly healthy, a few pounds a week is what I hear is good for you so nothing has told me other wise on the matter.
