It’s just been another busy day!

Tonight, I was able to put the finishing touches on the new theme here on curvy-chick.net. Unfortunately I strongly dislike this template now that everything is said and done. It was sitting on my hard-drive for maybe three days and by the time I came back around to complete it, my joy for it kind of went down the drain. I felt as though I needed something new here. I’m only going to consider this a temporary template for the time being. I’m lacking creativity and it’s extremely effecting me, not only with personal work but with clients as well. I have visions in my head of exactly how I’d like things to look and by the time I connect head to code, it just doesn’t happen for me. Hopefully I can get this resolved soon, I’d probably go bankrupt if I don’t do something about it immediately. Minus the layout, I was also able to get around to writing up my biography, at least there’s some content starting to form around here, right?

I did really well tonight, I only ate about 5 times today and they were a little bit smaller than I’m used to but I woke up late (again) and it was a rather busy day after that. Sean and I threw out our old bed and wound up putting two twin mattresses on the floor, it’s nice to have a little bit more room but this change also had us doing some in-room work as well. A few weeks ago I purchased a shelf system so we could put the TV and all of it’s other components up on the wall. I knew that with the room being so small, a king-sized bed would dramatically decrease the space; even if it, at the same time, increased comfort for us. Hanging the shelf took us a little longer than anticipated, our laser level may claim that something is level but the walls themselves are rather crooked. We eye-balled the first screw and kind of moved along slowly from there with the brackets to make sure we didn’t over-look anything that could potentially destroy the television. This past Christmas my father bought me an LCD TV and considering they’re expensive as they are, having it fall to the floor would be a serious heart-break for me.

Either way the room is done and tomorrow I’ll be outside getting the rest of the gardening completed. I honestly just can’t wait to finish all of this crap. I’m still annoyed with the fact that while we own the land we’re on, the doofuses in the main-office decided that our landscaping wasn’t up to par and needed to be done. The lady across the street has the paint chipping off of her house but us having some extra weeds here and there were considered an eye-sore, yea…riiight. We’re by no means blessed with having a green thumb so naturally if something is GROWING outside, even if it is a weed, we’ll typically accept it and move on. It’s not that they were wildly growing around the house, on the contrary, they literally looked like they were meant to be there and trimming them back at random kept them full and alive so there’s at least some greenery around the house - what exactly is so wrong with that? They aren’t hurting anyone, Bella can’t even kill them off by using them as a toilet, so I don’t understand the problem. This whole complex is up-their-own-butts about vanity. I’m still waiting for the community pool and weight-room that was promised two years ago. The building is there, the hole in the ground is there, what’s the hold up on filling it in?

A few months ago we noticed a branch sticking out from under the porch. Upon pulling the branch we realized it was hung up on something. Originally we thought it was just wedged in there from the previous nights wind but further inspection proved that it was based on a rooted tree growing from underneath the porch. Naturally we called the main office considering they were the ones who build the house here, least they could do is kill the tree. A woman showed up, claimed the tree was dead and that there’s nothing she can do about it. Spring has sprung, the tree is growing and now we had to pay out of our pockets, not theirs, to get the tree taken care of. Now they’re sending letters stating that our house is in desperate need of some landscaping - yep, this makes perfect sense to me. Ass holes.

In any event, it’s after 5:30am and considering I’m exhausted and have a long day ahead of me, I guess it’s time to get some sleep, hm?
