How do these people find me?

I don’t know why but for some reason I tend to attract people who are borderline crazy. I was outside a little while ago and some toothless old man decided to walk up my driveway and start asking questions about how long I lived here and how much I liked the community. Bella didn’t like him but neither did I considering in the 90deg weather he’s got me standing with my dog in the middle of the driveway! The fact that the booze was sweating through his skin didn’t help very much either.  Then his other buddy came up and it was to the point that I told them to both have a nice day and walked out of there.

There’s a difference between southern courtesy and southern comfort - you don’t drink it!

Starting to hate college.

PPP Sean is currently going through a web programming course for college and a lot of the work that is required is either English or Math based, oddly enough. I guess it doesn’t matter what college you go to, if you’re getting an associates or a bachelors they want you to get your fix of English and Math just to pass the course. The Math is understandable considering programming requires a lot of numbers sometimes but I’ve noticed that he’s been having a little trouble with it. To the point that I’ve looked into a few math tutors for him considering I know for sure that his strong point has always been English. I always did well in Math so at the moment I’m an acting tutor considering it’s hard to find someone on the college level that can help him what he needs help in…heh.

That’s my Answer! - Week #1

186 words posted on July 17, 2007 | Memes

I’m unsure if I’ve ever done this meme before but I think that has a lot to do with the fact that I can’t seem to keep good track of anything lately. I’ve decided to do That’s my Answer! because it was a fairly interesting question.

Which would you choose: A week away from home by yourself or a week at home with your whole family……and no interruptions?

I think I would honestly prefer a week away from home by myself. Even if I’m not being interrupted or bothered by anyone I’m still have trouble just sitting back and relaxing. I’ve considered purchasing a hotel room for a week (as long as they have wifi, naturally) and then just packing up and shipping out. Now I have Bella though so it’s kind of hard to get out of the house without her and not many hotels will even accept pets. It makes it difficult, but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t dump her off on someone for a few days just to get the rest that I desperately need at this point.

Working for yourself can be really annoying sometimes!

PPPI know I haven’t been around much lately but that’s based on the fact that I’ve been busy keeping my business up above water. I was doing really well for a while until a whole load of paperwork came in that I just wasn’t expecting. I started my business back in 1998 but since then it’s been a constant up and down when you factor in bills and resource payments. The one thing I never got around to until about 2001 is the actual filing of paperwork to claim my business and this is kind of what’s messing me up now. I looked through a lot of sites on Google and came across a link about starting up a Tennessee business but instantly knew that it wasn’t going to help me considering it’s based in a state that I don’t live in. So I poked around the site and saw that they also covered all 50 states, so that put me at ease considering I’m now listed as a New York business. My problem now is the fact that I’m going to have to transfer everything over to a Delaware based business. It’s a pain in the butt dealing with all of this paperwork, let me tell you.

There are sites that do the work for you like incparadise.com, but knowing that I’ve already done this paperwork in the past I’d rather just pay the state based fee and then do the work myself. I don’t personally see spending $90 to have someone do it for you but this doesn’t mean that if I were in a jam that I wouldn’t use the company to help me out. If you’re looking to start up your own business, then try them out. I’ve read some reviews on them and a few people have said they’re pretty good. I make it a point to cross check any company through ripoffreport.com and they had no strikes against them.

What the heck is going on!

I don’t quite understand what’s going on with my body at the moment but while I’m happy to be down another 7 pounds, no matter how healthy of a daily life I’m having I still find myself getting sick very easily. I’m certain it’s not the weight loss because I’m only really losing about 2-3 pounds per week which is supposed to be perfectly normal and healthy. I’m eating better, smoking much less and working out on a daily basis (minus the three days I was in bed unable to move) but the gym for the complex has finally been opened so Sean and I have spent a lot of time working out. I’ve been doing some weight training, walking with random increases of incline and anything else I can get my hands on. I’m also working on getting some money together each month to put myself on Nutrisystem and a very strict work out routine. Instead of doing my own form of portion control I’m just going to work on someone elses. I know for sure that I can handle the plan considering all of my meals are done for me. I just pick what I want and then nuke it - I think I can handle that.
